Innovative media for high-end contract proofs
Optimum quality hardcopy inkjet proofs are only possible when all system components – printer, software, inks and media –interact smoothly and are well integrated. The printing substrate is essential in this context since it is largely responsible for color space size and repeatability of proofs.
GMG offers printing substrates with optimally coordinated profiles for all proofing requirements: semimatte and gloss papers for offset, gravure and photographic applications; special papers for newspaper applications, and transparent and opaque films for flexographic and packaging applications.
Special features of GMG printing substrates
GMG printing substrates offer the user many advantages including:
All substrates specified and manufactured to the highest quality requirements of contract proofing
Every production batch tested by GMG to ensure tight conformance to specifications and tolerances
Extensive tests performed to optimally coordinate calibrations (MX3s) with the respective printing substrate, inks and output devices, allowing remote proofing within printer families
